Kate Ewart has substantial experience in food, grocery, and retail brand development, having enjoyed a career in manufacturing and retail with over 20 years at Tesco in the UK, Central Europe, and the USA. At Tesco, Kate launched the first exclusive plant-based brand, “Wicked Kitchen”, followed by Tesco’s own “Plant Chef” to become the market leader for plant-based foods.
Kate is now an independent consultant supporting clients with business development, technical and process solutions while being a passionate advocate for great quality, affordable food that excites and delights customers.
